Occasionally certain jobs will require a Service Provider to request a deposit before the work starts or request progress payments to be made throughout the work process. A Service Provider can request these conditions through their quotes on the Jobs Portal.

Request a Deposit
1. Sign in to the portal
2. Go to the Jobs page (Wrench Icon )
3. Select the Job
4. Click 'Attach Quote'
5. Enter the total price for the work (including GST)
6. Click 'Would you like to request a pre-payment, initial deposit or progress payments?'
7. Enter the deposit amount or the percentage of the final price
Note: the unpopulated field will automatically update based on the amount or percentage entered
8. Add the Estimated Start Date and Estimated Duration and the Quote PDF
9. Click 'Save'
Request Progress Payments
1. Sign in to the portal
2. Go to the Jobs page (Wrench Icon)
3. Select the Job
4. Click 'Attach Quote'
5. Add the final price of the work (including GST)
6. Click 'Would you like to request a pre-payment, initial deposit or progress payments?'
7. Under 'Progress Payments (If Any)', click 'Add Progress Payment'
8. Enter the amount for the Progress Payment and the Due Date
9. Click the 'Add Progress Payment' button again and repeat the process until the full price of the Quote is accounted for in the payments
10. Add the Estimated Start Date and Estimated Duration for the work
11. Add images, videos and files (optional)
12. Attach the Quote PDF or a URL link to the quote
13. Click 'Save'
Once this has been saved, the Strata Manager will be sent the Quote, including any deposit and/or progress payment requirements. If the Quote is approved, a Service Provider can create multiple invoices per their requirements.
