Download Outlook Plugin
Strata Managers would need to download the plugin from their Integrations settings to install the plugin to their Outlook.
To do this, click on the Avatar on the top right of the page, then select Settings. Select 'Integrations', scroll down to 'Outlook', and click 'Download'.
From here, Strata Managers would need to install the Outlook plugin to use this feature.
DMS and Outlook Connection
Click the Strata Master Connect Icon from Outlook's toolbar or on an open email to log in.
Enter the Strata Connect Login Credentials. These are the same credentials used to access the portal. Click 'Remember me' to skip this step for future emails.
Select the message/email that will be imported to the DMS. In the 'Send Message' pop-up modal, fill out the File Name, Plan Number, Lot Number (optional), and Category that the document will be assigned to in the DMS.
Select the Sending Mode. Sending Mode can be message only, attachment only, or message and attachment. This will determine what components of the email will be archived in the DMS.
Add Notes (Optional). When added, these notes will appear in the expanded list view in the DMS.
Once done, click Send.
The system will display a progress bar when the email is sending. The sending time will depend on how large the email or attachments are. A confirmation message will appear once it has been sent.
Once the email is imported to the DMS, users have an option to download the email by clicking 'Download Original' which is the portal's original converted PDF. If users need to reply to the email chain they can click 'Download Original Imported Document' which will download the email file.
