Sometimes a Service Provider will need to send a Quote for additional work. Often this will occur after they have completed a Job but there are further works to be considered.
When a Quote is sent with an Invoice in this way, the Strata Manager can add the new Quote to a Work Request.
Add Additional Quotes to Invoices
1. Go to the Jobs page (Wrench Icon )
2. Select the Job
3. Click the Dollar Icon on the Work Summary page to upload an Invoice for the Contractor
4. At the bottom of the Invoice window, click the 'Add a Quote for Additional Works' check box
Note: The '+ Add Quote' button won't appear unless the check box is clicked
5. Click '+ Add Quote'
6. Fill out the Add Additional Quote form
7. Click 'Save Quote'
When the new Quote is added, the Strata Manager can create a new Request, with this Quote already added. This request will have a different Trade IDs, but be under the same Job. Here the Strata Manager can review and approve the Invoice and Quote separately.
Note: Creating a new work request here does not automatically accept the Quote
The Quote can be now be Accepted, Rejected or Sent to the Committee for Approval. If accepted, the Service Provider will be informed, the quote request will turn into a work order, and the works can begin.
