Send a Job Request for Committee Approval
Strata Managers may decide to ask the Committee for review and approval of jobs that are submitted externally (created by Owners, Committee Members, Real Estate Agents, Tenants, etc.) and internally (created by Strata Managers, Building Managers, and Organisation Admins) by going to the Work Summary page.
Voting can only take place before work has been assigned.
Submitting a Request for Committee Approval
Navigate to the Jobs page.
Choose the relevant job (ensure it is a new job).
Click Request approval button
Or on the top-right corner of the job request page, click the three-dot menu (⋮).
From the dropdown menu, select "Request Committee Approval".
Choose the Committee Members you wish to send the quote to.
Assign a Deciding Voter (optional)
Click "Send" to submit your request.
The selected Committee Members will receive an email notification with important Job details and a request that they vote for or against the Job proceeding.
If the majority vote no, the Job will be cancelled.
If the majority vote yes, the Job will be approved. The Strata Manager can then go ahead and request work from contractors.
