Strata Managers can view and edit important information for a property on the Building Settings page. They can instantly see all of the Work Requests, preferred contractors, excluded contractors, key holders and important documents for a Building.
Strata Managers have two options for navigating to the Building Settings page. Read on to learn more about the functions and features on the page.

View by Going to the Buildings Page
Strata Managers can view the Building Settings page through the Buildings page. Click the Buildings Icon on the toolbar to go to the Buildings page then use the Search Bar to find the Building.
Search by typing the Plan Number, Address or Strata Manager of the Building.
Click the Plan Number to go the Building Settings page. If the Address is clicked by mistake, it will go to the Building Profile.
Note: Strata Managers can sort the Plan Number and Address of the Building that they're searching for by numeric order. Simply click the column heading 'Plan Number' or 'Address'
to sort the column numerically.
View by Going to the Jobs Page
Strata Managers can view the Building Settings page through the Jobs page. Click the Wrench Icon on the toolbar to go to the Jobs page and look for the Job. Then click the Plan Number in the left column of the row for the Job to go to the Building Settings page.
Strata Managers can also go to the Building Settings page by clicking the three dots on the right of the row for a Job then selecting 'View Building Page' from the drop-down menu.
Functions and Features of the Building Settings Page
Strata Managers will find useful functions located at the top right of the Building Settings page above the Google Map of the Building.
Resync Google Coordinates
There are instances when the coordinates of the Plan Number change in Google Maps. This may give external users an 'Address is currently not serviced by SMATA' error message when creating Work Requests. To fix the issue, Strata Managers can click the 'Resync Google Coordinates' button to resync the coordinates.
View Profile
Strata Managers can click the 'View Profile' button to go to the Building Profile.
New Job
Strata Managers can click the 'New Job' button to Create a Work Request or Quote Request for the Building.

Work Requests
Strata Managers can click the 'Work Requests' tab to view all Work Requests for the Building.
Search for requests by entering the Service Provider, Job Title, Description or Job ID into the Search Bar.
For Plans that have multiple addresses, the page has an 'All Site Plan Work Requests' filter which allows the Strata Manager to either filter requests for all addresses or for a specific address for the building.
Contacts
Strata Managers can click the 'Contacts' tab to view all of the contacts for the Building. They can update permissions for existing Building Contacts as needed.
Search for a Building Contact by entering the Name and Email into the Contact Search Bar. The results may be filtered by selecting a Lot Number or Role.

Preferred Contractors
Strata Managers can click the 'Preferred Contractors' tab to view details for all of the Preferred Contractors of the Building. This list is set in Strata Master.
Excluded Contractors
Strata Managers can click the 'Excluded Contractors' tab to view details for Excluded Contractors of the Building.
To add a Service Provider to the list, click the '+ Exclude Contractor' button and search by entering the name into the box.
A Service Provider that is excluded can still be assigned a request if the Strata Manager has unchecked the 'Do not limit results to Building Exclusion' box when selecting a Service Provider on the Add Trade page of a new request.
Key Holder
Strata Managers can click the 'Key Holder' tab to view the assigned Key Holders for the Building.
To add a Key Holder to the list, click the '+ Key Holder' button and search by entering the name into the box.
Price Limit
Strata Managers can click the 'Price Limit' tab to set a Price Limit for all Work Requests for the Building.
To add a price limit, enter the amount into the Price Limit box then add a note and click 'Save'.

Building Management
Strata Managers can click the 'Building Management' tab to view the Building Manager assigned to the Building. If no Building Manager information has been added and the Strata Manager knows the contact info of the Building Manager, they can click the '+ Building Manager' button and fill out the information.
Permission settings can be customised for each Building Manager so that they have access to manage the Building as required.
Team Members can also be listed to be displayed on the Building Profile page. Click the '+ Team Member' button and fill out the information to add a new Team Member.
Important Documents
Strata Managers can click the 'Important Documents' tab to view and upload important documents for the Building like Building Policies and Asbestos Reports.
These documents can be marked to automatically be shared with Service Providers in Job requests.
If the Strata Manager knows of a file that should be added to the list, they can click the '+ Add Documents' button and upload the file.

Building Rules
Strata Managers can click the 'Building Rules' tab to view the Building Rules created for the Building. If the Strata Manager needs to create a new Building Rule, they can click the '+ Add Rule' button and enter the requirements. Set permissions by clicking the check box next to each Role type that the rule applies to and click 'Save'.
These rules are displayed to the relevant audience on all Jobs for the building.

Building Services
Strata Managers can click the 'Building Services' tab to view custom Services available to the Building's Contacts, such as important links or Building documents.
These links will appear under the Building Services dropdown on the Building Profile for easy access for Owners and Committee Members.

Notes
Strata Managers can click the 'Notes' tab to view all notes for the Building.
Strata Managers can edit and add new notes. Notes added from this page will be automatically displayed on all Jobs for the building. Notes may be Internal or Public.
