When Quotes are submitted for approval, Strata Managers and selected voters within the Committee can have conversations on the Discussion Board of the Voting page. This can help to speed up the review process and provide an opportunity to address questions and give informed opinions on whether to accept the Quote.
There's a separate Discussion Board on the Voting page where Strata Managers may choose to discuss a Quote directly with a Service Provider.

Committee Members and Owners should check the email on their Portal account for notifications of any Quotes that have been sent for review. Open an email notification and click the 'Review Here' link to go to the Voting page.
Scroll down to the Discussion Board. Select the 'Voters' tab to view a list of Committee Members selected to vote on approval or select the 'Quote' tab to view the discussion. If there are multiple Quotes, the tabs will be numbered.
Each thread on the Discussion Board includes the participant's name along with the date and time that it was posted. To respond to a thread, enter a message. Click the Paperclip Icon to attach a file then click 'Send'.
Communicate With a Service Provider on the Discussion Board
The Discussion Board will show all participants that are invited to discuss a Quote, such as the Strata Manager, Committee Members, approvers and the Service Provider.
Committee Members should try to focus and simplify their communications with Service Providers. This is especially important online. When providing feedback or requesting more information, try to be as clear and concise as possible.
Service Providers can write messages to Committee Members and attach files such as updated Quotes, contracts and images. These messages and files will appear on the Discussion Board.
If there are Quotes from several Service Providers being reviewed, each one will have its own Discussion Board to ensure privacy.
Voters and Strata Managers have their own Discussion Board at the bottom of the Voting page.
After a participant has posted a comment, an email notification will be sent to the Service Provider and voters. This will keep all of the concerned stakeholders updated on the current progress of the review and any changes to a Quote's status.
Note: Messages can be posted directly to the Discussion Board by replying to an email notification of new messages on the Discussion Board.
