Placeholders allow an organisation admin or strata manager to automatically merge stored Plan and Organisation data into a Motion or Explanatory Note within Meeting Management.
Using placeholders ensures consistency, accuracy, and reduces manual data entry when preparing meeting documentation.
What Are Placeholders
Placeholders are dynamic fields that pull stored information from the portal database into Meeting Management content.
An organisation admin or strata manager enters a placeholder by typing a plus symbol (+) followed by the exact wording of the placeholder.
When the meeting documentation is generated, the placeholder is replaced with the relevant stored data for that Plan.
For example:
- Typing +Current levy year start will merge the current levy year start date.
- Typing +Agency email address will merge the agency email address.
The wording must match the placeholder exactly for the merge to occur successfully.
