The content of this article reflects the recommendations from industry experts. However, we encourage every customer to complete their own investigations into the requirements of their legislation with regard to the installation of Digital Noticeboards.
Organisations can set up Digital Noticeboards for their buildings which will publish messages remotely to a screen within the building. This keeps building stakeholders up to date with important information and allows for a seamless flow of communication.

Enable Digital Noticeboards
Digital Noticeboards must first be enabled for the organisation in order to install one in a building. Please contact support to enable this feature.
Organisation Admins can contact support to request a proposal for their building. Support will assess the suitability of the digital noticeboard for the building based on the selection criteria. If the building meets the criteria, a preliminary proposal will be provided to the building's representatives to supplement the voting process.
Please refer to the Product Service Agreement for the usage terms of Digital Noticeboards.
Committee Voting
Once the feature is enabled, the Organisation Admin can allow their committee to vote on their acceptance of the preliminary proposal.
To do this, Organisation Admins can go to the Buildings page, select the 3 dots on the right of the relevant building, and select 'Digital Noticeboard Screens'.
When Organisation Admins are ready to commence Committee voting, they should click the 'Request Committee Approval' button.
This will allow them to select Committee Members that can vote on whether they want a Digital Noticeboard installed in their building.
Click 'Choose file' to upload the proposal document that will supplement the voting decision.
Note: Please contact support to receive a proposal prior to commencing voting.
Once voting has commenced, Strata Managers can click 'Noticeboard' to view the voting page and current result.
If voting has stalled, Organisation Admins can click 'Make Casting Vote + Remind Voters' to nudge voters to cast their vote or to cast the final vote under delegation.
Installing a Screen
If the Digital Noticeboard is approved by the building, Support Managers will be notified so that they can commence the process to have the screen installed. They will reach out to the Strata Manager to discuss this process.
The Strata Managers should call a General Meeting in order to have the Digital Noticeboard license agreement approved.
Digital Noticeboard Screens
Organisation Admins can view a list of installed screens by navigating to the Digital Noticeboard Screens page from the dropdown in the top right.
From this page, Organisation Admins can search for a screen by the plan number, screen name, or reference ID. They can also apply a filter for plan number.
If they click on a plan number, they'll be taken to the relevant Building Profile page where they have the ability to Create Digital Notices.
Creating Digital Notices
Once the screen has been added, new notices can be added to the Digital Noticeboard. Organisation Admins can navigate to the Building Profile page and move between the online Noticeboard and the Digital Noticeboard by clicking the tabs.
Click 'Create Notice' to add to the Digital Noticeboard.
Firstly, select the Screen where the notice will be displayed. Then select from one of the Templates available.
The next fields will change based on the Template selected to make it easy to add the correct content. Then select the Time Frame for which the notice will be published.
Select the Checkbox to Notify User Role Types. Choose the user roles that should be notified about the notice.
Notices can be saved as Drafts and returned to later. Or if the notice is ready to be published, Organisation Admins can click 'Save'.
All Draft and Active notices will be displayed and managed accordingly.
Note: The branding of the organisation will be displayed in the top right corner of the notice.
Notice Loop
Notices will automatically be published to the screen within 30mins of the new notice being saved. All active notices will be displayed in a continuous loop on the screen.
Applicable Charges
Digital Noticeboards on eligible buildings will be issued free of charge. There are no upfront or ongoing charges for use of the screen.
The cost of the screen is subsidised by local businesses and media partnerships.
If additional infrastructure is required to achieve wifi connectivity, a proposal outlining the costs will be provided to the building representative for consideration. The building will be responsible for covering the cost of a change to infrastructure.
Organisation Admins should contact us with any further questions regarding this process.
