With Notes, Strata Managers can keep track of important details and create reminders for Jobs without needing to switch apps. They have the option for these notes to be private or public.
Accessing Notes
From the Job List, click on the job reference or name to open the Job Detail View.
Scroll down to location the Notes section
The Notes section displays:
Existing notes.
Who created them.
Their visibility (Public/Internal).
The date they were added.
At the top of the Notes section, you can toggle visibility to view:
Public notes – visible to anyone associated with the request/building.
Internal notes – visible only to your organization.
Add a New Note
To create a new note click the ➕ icon labeled “Add a new note” at the top right of the Notes panel.
A new dialog or inline form will appear for entering the note content.
Enter a short title or summary.
Add further details under note description
Attach Files (Optional) - drag & drop files into the upload box or click “Browse file” to select one
Select who can view the note based on their role
Click the “Create” button to save the note.
The note will now appear in the Notes list, tagged with creator, date, and visibility status.
