Managing regular maintenance or ongoing service needs can be time-consuming if each request is created manually. To streamline this process, the Recurring Jobs feature allows Strata Managers to automate job creation for tasks that occur on a regular schedule—such as monthly inspections, quarterly servicing, or annual compliance checks.
Create a Recurring Job
Go to the Jobs page
Click '+ Job Request'
On the Job details page, select Recurring
Add the plan number/building address
Enter lot number (optional)
Set Iterations
Under 'Program details' click + Set iterations
Choose from weekly, monthly, yearly.
Define how frequently the job should occur and when.
Set Duration
Add the duration of the job
Set how long the recurring job series should last:
Duration of the job is the total number of periods the recurrence will continue
Use the Notes field to add any specific instructions or additional context about the job for the provider
Click “Confirm iteration” to save and apply your recurring job settings.
Enter the Issue Details
Add the subject and the description of the issue
Attach images, videos or files by dragging and dropping them onto the shaded area
Before/after photos
Click the checkbox if the request requires a before and after photos
Requirements (Optional)
Enter additional requirements on the text field
Click Next Step to move to the next page
Inspection Option
Choose whether an inspection is required or not, if required add inspection details
Site Contact Details
Select the checkbox for 'add site contacts' if required or select 'no site contact needed' if not required
Site contact details added in this step will be shared with the assigned provider.
Building Contacts
Select the checkbox for 'add building contacts' if required or select 'no building contact needed' if not required
These contacts will be notified of the job. Their details will NOT be shared with providers.
Managers to receive notifications
These users will be notified as the job progresses to prompt them to take action if required.
Assign a Provider
Search and select a provider by name or choose from recommended providers based on the service area.
Click Select, then Add Provider.
Add Additional Request Information
If this Provider should be informed of specific details related to the job separate from other requests under the same job, click 'Yes' and add the requirements to the Request Description field.
Request Options (Optional)
These fields allow you to add financial and coding information:
Price Limit – Enter a price cap for the job.
GL Code – Select a General Ledger code for billing categorisation.
Authorised Cost Limit and Work Order Limit will auto-populate based on your organisation’s settings.
Share Price Limit with Providers – Tick this if you want the provider to see the price cap you've set.
