Committee Members and Owners can update information on their Profile like the profile photo and password and change notifications or privacy settings.
It's important that information on the Profile is accurate and up-to-date, since the contact information is visible to the Strata Organisation. If they prefer, Committee Members and Owners may hide their contact information.
To view and update the Profile, click the User Icon on the toolbar then select 'Settings'.
Profile
Committee Members and Owners can make updates to profile information on the Settings > Accounts Settings page.
Select Profile to make changes to the First Name, Last Name, Email, Mobile Number and Mailing Address, enter the new information. The email listed will be used for signing in to the Portal.
To add a profile photo, click the Change icon and browse the photo to be added then click Save Changes.
If there's already a profile photo added, a preview of the image will be shown. The current photo can be removed by clicking the Change button and choosing a new photo to attach.
Verify that the information is correct then select 'Save Changes'.
All of the information listed above is visible to the Strata Organisation.
Password
Committee Members and Owners can change the password for their account by selecting 'Change Password' on the Account Settings page.
Enter the Current Password and New Password. Confirm the new password then click 'Save'.
If the current password is unknown, Committee Members and Owners must reset their password from the 'Forgot password?' link on the Log In page.
Two-Factor Authentication
Committee members and Owners can enable two-factor authentication for their profile. When enabled, on each log-in attempt, they will be required to input a One-Time Password (OTP) that will be sent to their email.
Notifications
Committee Members and Owners can update notifications settings by selecting 'Notification Settings' on the Settings page.
They can decide whether to make changes to a specific type of notification (Push, SMS or Email) or to the frequency that they receive notifications. A Notification Summary is an email that summarises the activity for selected notifications issued during a specific period of time. Notification Summary reduces the number of email notifications by consolidating multiple notifications into a single email message.
Selections made under 'Basic Settings' will be applied to all notifications.
Notification Summary
Committee Members and Owners may decide that they would rather receive email notifications less frequently. They can make this change by clicking into the box under the 'Frequency' box and selecting an option from the drop-down menu.
They can select “Hourly” to receive one email notification every hour, or “Once per day” to receive a single email each day. Choosing “Once per week” reduces notifications to one email per week. Selecting “ASAP/Instantly” will send email notifications immediately.
Privacy Settings
Committee Members and Owners can update privacy settings by selecting 'Privacy Settings' on the Settings page.
Switch the toggle for 'Hide my contact details' to hide contact information from other Owners, Managing Real Estate Agents and Tenants on the Building Directory. This information will only be visible to Strata Managers and Building Managers.
Switch the toggle for 'Job Notifications' to opt into being added as a contact to receive notifications of Job updates made within the Portal.
