Building Managers can easily create new Jobs within the Portal.
One way is by clicking the 'New Job' button on the Dashboard or the Jobs page to create a Work or Quote Request, then searching for a Trade Category and assigning a Trade.
Building Managers should create Jobs this way when they haven't decided on a Service Provider to assign. They can instantly view and compare data, such as response times, availability and ratings.
If a Building Manager has been ordered to send a Job to a specific Service Provider, or if they aren't considering alternative suppliers, they can assign a Job directly to a Contractor by following the steps below.
Create a New Job and Send to a Specific Service Provider
1. Go to the Contractors page (Man in Hardhat Icon )
2. Enter the Company Name or Owner, ABN or Email in the Search Bar
3. Click the '+' button in the row of the assigned Service Provider
4. Select the Trade Category
5. Choose to create a Work or Quote Request
6. Set a Price Limit
7. Select the Time Frame for completion of the Job
8. Click 'Next'
The Building Manager should then fill out the Job Details form with the:
- Job location
- Title
- Description
- Images, videos or files
- Inspection times
- Site Contacts
- Building Contacts to Receive Notifications
- Managers or Staff to Receive Notifications
When the form is completed, click 'Submit Request' to send the request directly to the selected Service Provider.
