I am a tenant of the Princeton. I have a problem. There is excessive noise coming from the tenant above me. The old corporate person told me to record the noise for him but that seems pointless or too hard for me to do. And the agent for the people above me was incredibly aggressive and defended their tenant told me not to contact their tenant. So I haven't. I've had to put up with the noise for nearly 2 years now. Where the body corporate can help are the following.
A. Make sure all the work done at the Princeton are according to the rules and requirements of body corporate. There must be appropriate insulation on the flooring otherwise you could hear more than you should. That is one problem.
B. Make sure all the work done are done within the times and days allowed. I am hearing what appears to be power tools and other industrial equipment going on the weekends and even at midnight at times!
C. Publish the corporate rules and regulations and make them available and known to everyone in the building. They should not be limited to the owners and agents but tenants as well! They should be displayed prominently for all to see.
