If an invoice is required to be processed but must go through additional validation or is awaiting additional funds, Internal Approvers can use the 'Place on Hold' feature to manage these invoices. These invoices will remain in the current approver's Tasks but must be taken Off Hold before they can be approved.
Placing Invoices on Hold
When managing an invoice that should be placed on hold, click the three dots at the top of the page and select 'Place on hold'.
When an invoice is placed on hold, it opens up a modal that allows Strata Managers to record a note to support the action.
Note: This note will appear in the Document History for future reference.
This feature restricts the invoice from moving through the approval process and the invoice status will also change to 'On Hold'.
Approvers can also reverse the invoice status if needed by clicking the 'Take off hold' button on the invoice page.
Enter an optional note and select 'Take off hold'.
This changes the invoice status back to Under Review for approval and payment processing.
