Service Providers aren't always available to work on an assigned Job.
Sometimes there will be delays that cause a Job to 'Time Out'. For example, when a contractor that has been assigned work doesn't Schedule Work or Book an Inspection, the request will 'Time Out'.
If a Service Provider can't do this because they can't reach the Site Contact or are waiting on parts or materials to arrive, they can stop the Time Out feature by updating the Job status to 'Awaiting Site Contact' or 'Awaiting Materials'.
The 'Time Out' date is determined by the Date of Commencement set by the Strata Manager when the Job is created. This can be viewed on the Work Summary page.
If a Job has 'Timed Out' and the Service Provider intends to complete the work, they can contact an Organisation Admin to receive more time.

Determine the 'Time Out' Date
The 'Time Out' date is determined by the Due date for Commencement set by the Strata Manager when the Job is created.Note: When a Job 'Times Out', Service Providers can't continue to work unless their time is extended by an Organisation Admin or other Strata employee.
Extend the Time Frame
1. Go to the Jobs page (Wrench Icon )
2. Select the Job
3. Click the three dots on the right of the row then select 'Extend Time Frame'
4. Or, go to the Work Summary page
5. Find the Work Request that needs more time
6. Click the Clock Icon next to the Service Provider's name
7. Select to extend the time by 24 Hours, 72 Hours or 5 Days
8. Write a Message for the Service Provider
9. Click 'Submit'
If the Organisation Admin decides not to extend the time, they can change the Job status to 'Cancelled' and a new contractor can be assigned to the request. For more information, please see How to Cancel a Job and Cancel a Work or Quote Request and Assign to a New Contractor.
IMPORTANT: Organisation Admins should contact all contractors of Jobs that have 'Timed Out' to see if they have any updates on the Job's progress. Both Service Providers and Strata Managers are notified when a Job has 'Timed Out' or a 'Time Extension' request has been made.
Extend the Time Frame in Bulk
1. Go to the Jobs page (Wrench Icon )
2. Filter the results by selecting 'Timed Out' from the Status menu
3. Click the checkboxes in the left column to select the Jobs to extend
4. Click 'Bulk' then select 'Extend Time Frame'
5. Select to extend the time by 24 Hours, 72 Hours or 5 Days
6. Click 'Submit'
