Building Managers can decide how and when they want to receive updates and notifications by going to the Settings page. It's easy to opt-in or opt-out of certain types of notifications and customise settings.
Notifications are sent in-app, by SMS or by email. Check in-app notifications by clicking the Bell Icon on the toolbar. SMS or email notifications are sent to the phone number or email address on the profile for the account.
Notifications help Building Managers and other contacts to track new activity for assigned Jobs and initiate actions directly from a Notifications Summary, improving the speed and capacity to perform routine administrative tasks.
A Notification Summary is an email that summarises the activity for selected notifications issued during a specific period of time. Notification Summaries reduce the number of email notifications by consolidating multiple notifications into a single email message.

View Notification Settings
1. Click the arrow next to the User Icon or Profile Picture
2. Select 'Settings'
3. Click 'Notifications'
Basic Settings
Basic Settings is the master control for all notifications.
Action Notifications control notifications for when an action is required within the portal. For example, Building Managers receive action notifications when a Service Provider has sent a Quote, the Committee has completed voting, and if a Service Provider hasn't been able to reach the Site Contact. Action notifications are also sent when a Job has timed out, a Variance or Invoice has been sent or updated, a message has been received and a task is due.
Notice Notifications control notifications for many status changes and updates within the Portal that do not require immediate action. Building Managers receive notice notifications when a Job has been cancelled, if a Job is awaiting materials or has been reopened, or if work or an Inspection has been scheduled.
Building Managers can decide whether they want to make changes to a specific type of notification (In App, SMS or Email) or to the frequency that they receive notifications.
Selections made under 'Basic Settings' will be applied to all notifications.
To view more options and change notifications for specific functions and kinds of updates, click 'Advanced Settings'.
Advanced Settings
Advanced Settings will show all notifications for Building Managers, including a description of when each notification is sent and whether the notification is categorised as Action or Notice.
Building Managers can make changes to settings for any notification listed by clearing a check box for In App, SMS, or Email or change the frequency by selecting a new option from the drop-down.
Notification Summary
Building Managers have control over how often they receive their email notifications. They can make this change by clicking into the box under the 'Email Frequency' column and selecting an option from the drop-down menu.
They can choose 'Periodically' to receive one email notification per hour or 'Daily' to receive one email notification per day. Selecting 'Weekly' will reduce their email notifications to one email notification per week.
These notifications will include all updates from that nominated time period in a colour-coded email for easy accessibility.
Snooze Notifications
Notifications can be set to Snooze so that no email notifications will be sent for the selected period of time.
Snooze notifications for:
- 1 hour
- 8 hours
- 1 day
- 3 days
- Until next week
Make sure to click 'Save' to implement the change.
When the selected time frame has passed, notifications will revert to their default settings.
