There will be times where a user need to change certain settings to their SMATA account. A building manager can access their setting by clicking on the User Icon at the top right of the page and selecting 'Settings'.
NB. This is only available when logged in.
Within Profile Settings, the following changes can be made:
A building manager can access their user details by clicking the 'My Details' tab.
- First and Last Name
- This is the name that will be sent to contractors and committees on SMATA
- This is the email address that is sent to contractors and committees on SMATA. This is also the profile's log in email. Please keep this in mind when editing it.
- Phone number
- This is the contact number that is sent to contractors and committees on SMATA
Clicking the 'Change Password' tab allows a user to edit their existing password.
NB. A user will need to already know their existing password to change it. If they don't know/have forgotten it, they will need to Reset their Password.
Email Notification Settings
When a job is updated, building managers get notified by the SMATA Notifications (Bell Icon) and also via email. To edit these, click the 'Email Notification Settings' tab
The email notifications default is with all the options selected. A user can uncheck boxes to opt out of those email notifications.
All of these settings can be changed at any time. Make sure to click 'Update' to save the changes made, so the updates aren't lost.
