Sometimes you will receive job requests that are missing some important details that you might need to know before booking a contractor.
These details could include:
- Location within property
- Details of damage
If you need to ask for more details, open the job ticket and select the "Request more details" option in the drop down menu.
Follow the instructions below to see how it's done:
Click on the Jobs (wrench icon) heading on your SMATA account.
Click on the job you wish to open
Click on the three dots to the top-right of the page
Choose the option: "Request more details"
Now add the details of the job that you would like to ask about. Press Send.
- The person who sent the job request will then get a notification of the request for more details and will be able to update their job request accordingly.
If your request for more details is still unanswered, you will see a yellow dot next to the job on your Jobs page. When you have received the information, this will change to a green dot.
