How Contractors are notified of a work request, inspection request or uploading of quote or invoice? SMATA Support Manager December 02, 2019 23:44 Updated Contractors will receive the following notifications for a work request or quote request: Contractors will receive a follow-up email requesting they action your requests 24 Hours and 48 Hours after you have submitted a work or quote request to them. Contractors will receive a follow-up email 24 and 48 Hours after they have made a time to inspect a property to prompt them to schedule the work. Contractors will receive a follow-up email 24 and 48 Hours after they have made a time to complete the work prompting them to upload their quote or invoice. Please note: If the contractors have not actioned any of the above requests after 48 hours we will then send an email to you (the Strata Manager) notifying you that SMATA has attempted to follow up the contractor to action your request but they have not proceeded. At this stage, you will be encouraged to reach out to the contractor via phone to see if they are interested in proceeding, or cancel the request to the contractor and send a new request to the contractor.
